One of the largest 'Fun For The Family' events on Ontario's summer calendar, JAMBANA™ kicks off at 1PM on Monday August 2nd, 2010 inside Downsview Park, 35 Carl Hall Road in Toronto with 8 ½ hours of entertainment; music, comedy, dance, food, dominoes, and so much more.

Dance to the sounds of Reggae, Soca, Jazz, and Gospel from internationally acclaimed reggae bands andJUNO award winnersfor only $5 in advance, $7 at the gate.
Children 7 and under are FREE.
You'll also be supporting a worthy cause in the process. Part of the proceeds go towards building double unit homes in Haiti with Friends For the Poor, Canada and benefit the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation to support hospitals and schools in the parish of Portland, Jamaica.
With so many styles and sounds coming from the main stage throughout the day, the 2010 edition of the JAMBANA™ festival is sure to be a phenomenal event. Similar to a carnival, the Children's Village is hours of fun for the little people withrides, face painting, and balloon artists. For the bigger people there are contests throughout the day and in the Domino Village competitors play in the 'Lick A Six'Domino Tournament for a chance to win a trip for 2 to Jamaica. Community organizations, holiday destinations and events are showcased in the Travel and Trade Village, while healthy cooking displays and demonstrations go on in the Health Villagewhere people share and obtain information on diseases and prevention.
