UK Reggae Band UB40 Moves Closer Towards Being Declared Bankrupt

A judge in Birmingham said bankruptcy proceedings could go ahead involving Robin Campbell, Brian Travers, Terence Wilson, Norman Hassan and James Brown, all members of the famed UK reggae band, UB40.

However, District Judge Richard Musgrave said the men could not yet be declared bankrupt. He also pointed out the fact that the amount being sought by liquidators over the band members' defunct record label was far too high.

UB40 which was formed in 1978 in Birmingham was a ground breakingreggae band who helped to popularize reggae both in Britain and internationally. The band has placed more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. One of the world's best-selling music artists, UB40 have sold over 70 million records.

  1. I hope they get the services of a qualified bankruptcy lawyer Phoenix. They shouldn't have to stop giving us the gift of music.
