Buju Banton will Finish his Prison Sentence in Texas

The torments of Buju Banton seems to have no end in sight. Since his conviction he was expected to serve his sentence in Florida, but due to a reported shortage of beds he was expected to be moved to Mississippi. However, it is official that Buju banton will serve the remainder of his sentence at the Limestone County Correctional Institution in Groesbeck, Texas.


Banton was airlifted from the Federal Transfer Center (FTC) in Oklahoma City on Friday en-route to the Limestone County Correctional Institution in Texas where he is expected to begin serving his ten year prison sentence.


Buju has been given a release date of February 1, 2019.
