WHEN WILL IT END: Buju Banton Sentencing Date Pushed Back

A federal judge in Tampa, Florida, has pushed back the sentencing date for Reggae Grammy winning artist Buju Banton. The first sentencing date was announced for June 16th, however the judge has now push back the date to June 23rd.

Judge James S Moody announced the new date without giving a reason as to why Banton's sentencing has to be delayed.

The Reggae Grammy winner was remanded into custody and had his bail revoked after he was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug traffickingoffense, and using the wires to facilitate a drug trafficking offense. However, he was found not guilty on one charge of attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.
